I am told John Cleese spoke those words in an interview after Jones' death was announced. And it is a typical thing for him to say (two down = Jones and Chapman, and the four to go = Cleese, Palin, Idle and Gilliam), since he said something like (quote is not exact, but the context should be) "It good he's dead, the bastard, I hope he'll burn in Hell. And dear ladies and gentlemen, I only say this because Graham would never forgive me if I didn't use his death as an opportunity to cause an uproar", I did expect something like this from Cleese as a response.
