It's what he spent the majority of his life trying to achieve. Heard on the radio that the response from the "official Monty Python site" was "Two down, four to go."

I am told John Cleese spoke those words in an interview after Jones' death was announced. And it is a typical thing for him to say (two down = Jones and Chapman, and the four to go = Cleese, Palin, Idle and Gilliam), since he said something like (quote is not exact, but the context should be) "It good he's dead, the bastard, I hope he'll burn in Hell. And dear ladies and gentlemen, I only say this because Graham would never forgive me if I didn't use his death as an opportunity to cause an uproar", I did expect something like this from Cleese as a response.

Who

Terry Jones. British comedian and member of the famous comic group Monty Python (Along with Eric Idle, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Graham Chapman and Michael Palin). Try to look up "Spam Monty Python" on YouTube and you can see him playing the barmaid in that sketch (the way in which he uses the word "spam" and how Graham Chapman keeps yelling "I don't like spam" were the reason that spam in the sense of unwanted mails and comments got its name), and in the "Life of Brain" you can see him portraying Brian's mother. (yeah, nearly all members of Monty Python did both male and female roles in their work). He also hosted some shows on Discovery channel about history.

For me the Pythons have all been an inspiration, and that includes the work of Terry Jones in that group. So for me, the death of any of the Pythons feels as a great loss, and thus this meme in which I bring him the last honor.
