however,we should consider a few things to broaden the scope of contextual information.
1. the 2012 NDAA passed under Obama,in article 10-21 it states that the president has the power to deploy military on domestic soil, essentially eradicating posse comitatus.
does this automatically mean that the military will agree to shoot fellow americans?
no..i simply do not see it happening.
the military is pretty evenly split on the political spectrum, and while many may support trump, not every supporter is a trumpite.
2.let's lay the blame at the feet of those responsible for this division in the first place:
corporate media.
conflict, drama and perceived injustice is their bred and butter.it makes them immense amounts of money, and trump is the gift that keeps on giving.either for or against trump..it produces mountians of cash for them.
so the narrative becomes far more important than actually informing,or offering substantive context to give people a clearer picture,in order to formulate a cohesive opinion.not the emotionally charged rhetoric I see on the daily.
3.the militarization of our police,on a national scale.
I do not see much mentioned about this, but it is something that has me concerned, very concerned.
why does a small town in west virginia with a population of 1500 have a f**king TANK? in what world is that a necessary piece of equipment?
so,in my opinion,if the government was ever going to execute a crack down on the American people, that is where it will be coming from...not the military.
look,i don't know if you gents have realize it yet,but I attack media narratives.
it's what I do.
because how can we ever get to the actual politics if we are stuck on media fed narratives?
which is just propaganda, with emotionally charged rhetoric to incite and appeal to our lizard brains and shut down all reason and critical thought to manipulate us to pick up our spears of tribalism and attack the "enemy".
I mentioned this to another imgflipper and he thought this was the funniest thing he ever heard.almost hurt himself laughing.in his mind, the narrative WAS the politics.
no...it is not.
just because someone supports trump does not automatically make them a sycophant.or a neo-Nazi.just like a liberal isn't a closet commie.both seek what is best for their community, state and nation.they just differ on how to do it.
and the media exploits that for profit.while playing guard dog to the very powers they were assigned to watchdog.
we are all being gaslit.
