English please. I have no clue but my husband works with PLC.

I currently work with C# and my very own Scripting language NIL (which works with Lua and can be used with any Lua based engine to enhance Lua). I do not really have a favorite... They all have their pros and cons... I do have some ideas for my own new programming language to cover some important things up.

Yeah, it was a pun to the "nil" word in Lua and a recursive acronym "NIL isn't Lua".

The only one I've ever used is Java and it was a prerequisite course in school to graduate. I didnt really like the teacher, he was a jerk, so I didnt really enjoy the class either and didnt retain anything as such. It was interesting to do as I recall, had I been under a better instructor I may have kept up with it.

Yeah, knowing your stuff isn't the mark of a good teacher, eh?
Too bad I can't teach you Java (never used it, so I know too little of it)... I do know C# though...
But I've had some share with teachers who were not really competent when it came to anything that didn't directly have to do with the subject itself... And that can be quite frustrating.
