Can I be a Mod?

In the spirit of the stream, there are some un-posted rules in place to make sure that moderation happens with mature discretion, one of those requirements is age, another is dedication to the stream, and also the ability to exercise unbiased content when posting and responding to memes and comments in the stream. I'm not sure you're quite there yet, but keep posting good think tank content, inspire good deep questions, invoke thought and we might consider you in the future.

Why do you want top me a mod so bad? I think if you stop asking and just keep posting, learning from the great memers here and being a good member of the site eventually others will learn to trust you and ask you to be a MOD.

Hey, Usu, words of advice:

MOD begging is like upvote begging. It annoys some people, some are okai with it, and others are okay with it as long as you do it in a funny/creative way. Kate here is the kind of person who like it if you do it in a good way. Just be patient, earn her trust, and work at it slowly. Remember, upvote begging can get really old, really fast. Thats what your MOD begging is like.

I'm glad you think I'm nice, but I'll never like mod begging no matter how politely or persistently one does it. It's all dependent on earning trust for a user who demonstrates maturity.

Ah, I didnt mean it like that...my intention was to DIS-courage him....I was saying that he needs to be patent, be part of the community and earn your trust, and follow your method rather than just...beg for it... I meant to say that everyone has different tastes (like how some people add people as MODs if they just ask once) but youre not like that...

I mean It did discourage. Might as well not even try because it's never gonna happen.
Also, if sounds like i'm trying to guilt trip, that's not my intention.

I think the stream is running smoothly with the MODS we have, I don't foresee having to add more, unless one of them leaves. And let's just say I'm pretty particular about who MODS.
