Yes, no court would blame Trump. That falls on Iran or the guy that pushed the button. That unfortunate accident (probably) was influenced by the racheting up of paranoia but the blame doesn't lie with Trump.

Trump took a considered action, independently and of his own volition, and put Iran in a state of emergency and anxiety. it is almost certainly why some bonehead pushed the button and all those people died horribly. the trial would need to investigate and consider all the details. at this point it looks like both countries should be held responsible.
