Naturally RT is going to go with Putin, because both Moscow and Tehran want Assad to stay and power, and willingly lie on his behalf. I'm going to say the Russians are dumber for this ridiculous accusation.

Yet that article was written by a former US Marine intel officer with experience in that theatre of war. It's just as easy to say Conservatives rushing to praise the missile strike killing an Iranian general, turn a blind eye to how he helped the US attack the Taliban in Afghanistan and that he fought against ISIS in Syria.

A major international event occurs and all right wingers can think is "ohhh what are the libs and CNN going to say about this?" While libs have TDS plenty of right wingers have LDS Liberal Derangement Syndrome.

Iran never helped the US attack the Taliban in Afghanistan, and they didn't jut go after ISIS in Syria. They went after anybody Bashar al-Assad hates, and accuses of being with either Al-Qaeda or ISIS. Iran wants the Baathists to stay in power, because they've been protecting the Hezbollah since they were created in the 1980's. It makes it easier for them to start another war on Israel.
