I'm saying we can count the stock market as a point in Trump's favor, for now -- but: does it outweigh all the other downsides of his presidency?
The Ukraine monkey business, the undermining of our alliances, the erosion of our political discourse, the total failure to get any major legislative priorities accomplished (even infrastructure, a theoretical point of commonality between Trump and Democrats), the failure to act whatsoever on climate change and the rolling back of other environmental protections, and the fact that Trump's most rabid supporters are now calling for hangings of Democrats?
For me, it doesn't. Money isn't everything.
