I'm posting like I think people aren't going to shrug this off like you do. Everything we said about Trump's conduct and competence, all our warnings about a man who conducts diplomacy and legally defends himself on the exact same social media outlet - it's now all on public record and testimony.

Trump might not have a sense of shame but the people judging him do, and while the Senate is free to stick to party if they want to, the fact is that this will always go down in our collective memory as the time when Trump's immaturity just plain broke the law while the world was watching.

You might think that damage control will smooth things over in the end, but the fact is that this is going to be a major source of weakness for the conservative movement going forward.

And that's what I'm posting like.

You think all this harrassment is going to hurt Trump? His approval has gone up during this charade. Maybe you guys should attempt to get a decent candidate to beat him next year instead of focusing on non issues, like a salacious dossier of hearsay and rumors, that the FBI used while knowing was false, while doctoring emails and making 17 'mistakes' that all went one way to get their fisa warrent to spy on the Trump campaign team. Even Comey is eating shit now and making excuses while accepting blame.

That you bitch about Trump while saying nothing about Schiff's private basement hearings, refusal to call Republican witnesses, lying about not knowing who the whistleblower is, misrepresenting Trump's Ukraine call in such a ludicrous fashion etc etc only shows that you're cool with removing Trump hook or crook, no matter how many lies are pushed, rules broken or how much subterfuge is needed.
