He's not testifying because congress can't force him to and he is not going to participate in the kangaroo star chamber proceedings.

Cosby looks guilty if he doesn't speak up but Trump looks innocent because he doesn't speak up? Wow, that's twisted Trumpian logic right there.

"Do not remain silent" and "testify on your own behalf" are two different things. POTUS speaks out by tweeting, thus he is not remaining silent. Testifying on your own behalf is done in court and can jeopardize your right not to incriminate yourself.

If he has nothing to hide, he shouldn't have to worry about incriminating himself though. I know if I was accused of a crime, I'd want to clear my name. Just like he said for Cosby. The thing is what he tweets is the same things over and over again. How many times does he need to say "read the transcript"? He's retweeting other people's opinions more than his own. 100+ tweets today alone. Me thinks he doth protest too much!

He did clear his name. He released the transcript, got the Ukrainians to confirm it, and confirm that he did not ask for "Quid Pro Quo". What more could he have done, other than participate in the kangaroo court?

Funny.... when Hillary Clinton was accused of something she went through multiple kangaroo courts to clear her name. And he sent his lap dog Rudy over to the Ukraine too. Who's a good boy/ Rudy's a good boy.

There's a reason we have the 5th amendment protection against self-incrimination. Lawyers are trained to ask loaded questions that are designed to make the person answering look bad no matter what they say. The lawyer's job is to win a case through debate tactics, and planting seeds in the minds of the jurors.
He's got every right to tweet and retweet as much as he wants, just like anyone else because 1A. You don't have to follow his Twitter feed.
He's having to defend himself against a gang of criminal liars, so he says "Read the transcript" because that is where the truth is. He's retweeting other's opinions to show that he isn't some lone voice claiming persecution where there is none.

"Truth isn't truth" "Alternative facts" "What you're seeing and what you're hearing isn't happening" are all lies told by the Republican party. And you're going right into them. Yeah, he has the right to do it. I'm just saying if he wants to truly prove his innocence, he should follow his own advice. But he doesn't. Instead he continues to whine about it.
