It's Merry Christmas corporate America

People are over it, but corporate America is more intent than ever on making "Happy Holidays" the only appropriate way to say it. That's garbage. There is nothing wrong with Merry Christmas, and while most people (right AND left) have moved passed it, I've noticed this year big corporate has really doubled down. Language and imagery both. Merry Christmas.

We're not a Christian nation.

Well you wouldn't know by the celebration of Christmas. When talking about Christmas, and selling things to people because they give gifts on Christmas, they should mention Christmas. That is the reason they are selling things. Also, be careful what you wish for. I'm not currently even in a Church, but I'm starting to think it's not such a bad idea. The media being "the king of kings" isn't working out for us.

And what if somebody's buying a Hanukkah gift?

That does happen. The % of people celebrating Hanukkah should also be included in advertising and general representation. I would guess less than 2%, but that's a guess.

Still whining about the so-called "War On Christmas" that's really just a figment of your imagination.
