"Ukraine is our friend and ally"
Obama/Biden/Hilly/Nuland orchestrated a coup and installed their oligarch puppet. The next election the people of Ukraine voted him out and voted in a tv comedian.

"Trump loves Russia so much."
Trump increases sanctions on Russia. Hillary did a reset with them and sold them US uranium reserves, Obama told Putin "I'll have more room (to work with you) in my 2nd term"

The people of Crimea had a referendum and decided they wanted to go with Russia, not the neo nazis ushered into power in the Ukraine under the Obama admin.

Jeffrey, please can I appeal to you. Stop it, just stop it. Your selection of actual facts does not fit with the narratives that the npc, orange man bad left side of politics wish us to believe. Your truth has no place here on a meme like this. Thank you

Do you have anything to back that up?

While under the Trump Administration sanctions on Russia have certainly increased, Trump has emphasized a deep admiration for Putin and constantly repeated Kremlin talking points several times during his Presidential career.

Kremlin talking points like "The people of Crimea, from what I've heard, would rather be with Russia than where they were."

there was actually a vote:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annexation_of_Crimea_by_the_Russian_Federation

the US state department not only backed the coup, but also support the neo-Nazis in Ukraine:
https://www.thenation.com/article/americas-collusion-with-neo-nazis/

the situation in Ukraine is pretty complicated, and has been a hornets nest for over a decade, but how the American corporate media has reported on the situation is absolutely disgraceful.

I'm aware of the vote, but I believe the US and NATO did not recognize the referendum as legitimate?

I'm not aware of the US state department backing the coup. And from the article, it appears my sources would probably be silent. However, none of my international sources were exactly helpful as well. Very interesting.

the nation article is by dr Stephen cohen,a well respected historian who specializes in the Russian history.
he used to be a regular on such shows as Rachel maddow, chuck todd and chris hayes.
until the russiagate story began.

and you are correct, the US and NATI (US lite) did not recognize the vote.which makes perfect sense if you follow American foreign policy that last 5 decades.
are we really that surprised?
considering the situation in Venezuela and now Bolivia?
1 up, 4y
Yes, I've been researching Venezuela and Bolivia as much as I can on my downtime. It's about as complicated as Ukraine more or less. The only talking point Trump has ever had that I remotely agreed with is US-withdrawl from international politics. Or at least minimizing it. I'm not convinced that it does more good than harm to provide aid to pro-US factions that in some regions flip on a coin over the span of a decade. And it is frustrating that not only do we never learn our lesson but when the political pendulum eventually swings here in the US, it hastens the demise of these internationally backed US-factions primarily due to inconsistencies with foreign policies between different party administrations.

Trump "constantly repeated Kremlin talking points several times" Wow what a brilliant statement.

Duhhhhh I'm retarded, so "do you have anything to back that up?"

The go-to move of every asshat on this forum is the "give me a reference" when it comes to the entirety of human history and current events. Do you own homework you brain dead lazy f**ks. Do a 5 minute search ot STFU.

Ahhh so i see. If you like the original meme then no facts are needed, and when it's debunked suddenly evidence is an absolute must. That's how it works with you. And everyone sees that's how you operate.

Really? I've never heard that. Can you provide some proof to support your claim?

So you can't prove your claim, but can only attempt an appeal to emotion by claiming you are acting logically.

So that's a no.

When you make baseless claims people tend to call you out on it.

Yes, that's a no from you. I called you out on it and you have nothing to back it up.

You'll find that I failed to utter a single ad hominem in the original post above. I actually agreed with your point that Trump has been harder on Russia through sanctions. I did not call you an asshat, a brain dead lazy f**k, nor a retard, or criticize your grammar.

I merely asked for a source for your reference which on a stream devoted to politics is a natural reaction. I've been called out to post my sources and happily done so. I suppose the protocol is then to criticize the source and surely I would have if I found biased rhetoric in the article whether it be from Fox News or CNN. Typically, when I ask for sources is it either because I am unable to find anything on the search or I do not have the time. It is usually the former.

Enochthewatcher managed to post me the sources that I asked for and I delivered my response without ad hominems and found the information intriguing. You could've easily done that and I likewise would have replied less antagonistically. Instead, you chose to immediately respond antagonistically and remain unhelpful like an internet troll. Maybe don't do that next time if you want people to take you seriously.

Also, I'm noticing a very troubling trend with google. I'll be sure to post a screenshot when I do it next time I cannot find an immediate source.

Google will fail to conclude the sources I need from a simple search like... "US-backed" "Neo-Nazi" and "Ukraine" and get nothing but information on "Neo-Nazis in the US" "International Neo-Nazi Activity" and absolutely no articles from TheNation.com Then, after Enoch posted the link, suddenly, at the very top of the page, I have two articles from TheNation.com about "Us-backing Neo-Nazis" and "Neo-Nazi activities in the Ukraine."

That is very deeply troubling.
