Canadian movie that slipped under the radar (in the US anyways), a bit more subdued than the usual, but actually well made, the usual teen movie bits, reminded me of the ABC Afterschool Special movies I saw as a kid. It deftly smacked the tropes upside the head but without being a parody or cheapening the characters.
Shame it didn't get more attention, up there with the lycanthrope greats, best (IMO) one since 1981's American Werewolf in London, The Howling, and Wolfen (which was sorta wolfman-ish), haha the Year of the Wolf I called it. Lower budget, not the awesome-est creature ever, but for what they did, it was great.
