There's plenty of info, but it's in Russian (my Russian is better than my English tho :D).

Hmph. Lucky you. Here among the South Slavs, the myths traditions are almost completely forgotten and/or mixed with Christianity. Who was once Perun is now St Elijah (who is even nicknamed The Thunderer), who was once Mokoš is now St Petka, who was once Kupalo is now St John the Baptist etc

Slavic gods are gone but not forgotten. Most of the customs and rituals that exist today are remnants of old pagan times, which have later been adapted to Christian religion. Many Slavic pagan beliefs still live also through the traditions connected with Christmas and other holidays and life events (birth and death). You know how they say – tradition is a dead belief, a memory of forgotten ancient world. :-)

Very interesting. Sacred caverns, believed to be an entrance to the underworld, rock sanctuaries, sacred groves near springs are widespread throughout the Balkans. I'm quite familiar with the extraordinary energy these places possess :)

Unfortunately, I've never been to a cave, but whenever my family makes a trip to Montenegro for summer vacation and we traver through the Dinaric Alps, the mountains and cliffs always fascinate me. They give me a strange, mystical feeling nothing else is able to give me. Especially when there is a forest nearby.
