I was unaware Men were a repressed group who have suffered from a lack of rights for some time in the past and into the near past and still experience Sexism today.

Huh.

No. The r/Whoooosh isnt even accurate, since I am pretty sure they got the memo, but disagree. And I was/am too tired to argue why this Mens Day is, excuse the crass Language, stupid, but if you want to celebrate it, go ahead.

Each group has their own repression and privileges. Men for instance have been expected for a long time to be willing to die to protect women. Whether it come up in disasters, crimes, or war. They are also excepted to do more dangerous jobs and put forth more physical effort than women, eveb when doing the same job.

As uneducated as you just admitted to being, what does any of that have to do with it, /at all/?

Or are you saying there's something wrong with having a day to just celebrate men and boys, with no other political agenda?

Besides, there's an international women's day, so the very nature of equality /demands/ there be an international men's day. If you deny that, then you don't believe in equality.

That depends on how you define repression and sexism. The idea that men do not and have experienced either of those things is absurd. Men are forever bombarded with negative advertising and conflicted societal messages about who they are and how they are expected to behave - just like women.

And as JakkFrost pointed out, by definition equality must be inclusive.
