Witnesses are being examined and cross-examined. The case for impeachment is being presented, the case against is being presented, and the two cases will be weighed up for a decision.

My congressman isn't the one that is making the claim without offering proof and shifting the burden onto everyone else when he cannot back it up.

We've been over MANY times that the evidence that builds the case against Trump is there. Trump was supposed to provide accountability for his shady actions surrounding his handling of foreign policy with Ukraine and he failed to do so. That is impeachable.
