The full name of the political party was the "Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei" - the National Socialist German Worker's Party.

And Cuba´s Official name is The ¨Republic of Cuba¨, and yet they are communist. Just because it says republic doesnt mean its democratic, and just bc Nazi means national socialist doesnt mean they are socialist

Cool story - name one right wing politician who wants socialism. Socialism was the primary goal of the NAZI party (it's in the name of the party). No republican wants anything to do with socialism, while virtually every Democrat candidate wants it to one degree or another (except Tulsi Gabbard, who is the only sane Democrat candidate).

Nazi also went after Monarchies (Albania, Guernsey, Jersey, Luxembourg, Belgium, Denmark, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Norway), Republics (Czechoslovak, France, Danzig, Islands of the Aegean), Dictatorships (Austria)...and I'm bored looking these up. The NAZI went after anyone in the path of their army.

Despite what the Alt Righties like to claim, being ultra conservative, Fascism very much favored monarchy, the church, all the good old fashioned strict society stuff.

Again like Conservatives - salute the glorious traditions of yesteryear, especially the authoritarian aspects which kept everything in their understood place, then supplant the mechanizations unofficially while trampling said traditions as he pretends to strive for them.

And so history repeats itself yet again,,,

Few believe NK practices political democracy, but their economic model is unqualifiedly socialist. Their strict adherence to it no matter what is why as many people there have died of starvation as have - despite frequent shipments of food aid from the capitalist US.

And the Nazi party did in fact practice a very socialized economic model - ironically in a way that made it one of the few if not only examples of where it came close to working.

The fact Stalin "went after" Trotsky doesn't change the fact their economic philosophies were in fact quite close too.

this right here:
Socialism was the primary goal of the NAZI party (it's in the name of the party).

reveals such a staggering ignorance that I almost feel bad for you.
to openly brag,on a public forum, how you are a proud member of the intellectual elite, and then drop a turd like that is just....
/shakes head..
sad.it is sad dude.

It was founded as the German Workers’ Party in 1919, and its socialist leaning was designed to attract support from the working class (which you need if you want to call yourself the workers party). It was renamed after Hitler took over, and while he did oust the socialist leadership (the night of the long knives) - he kept it in the name. No amount of harrumphing will change the fact that socialism was a founding principle of the NAZI party.

jesus lord in heaven you are SUCH a f**king hack!
just gonna double down eh?
ignore 80yrs of documented history to engage in bullshit, revisionist history to what end?
the arrogance is astounding.....

TL;DR
the Nazi party took over the socialist party by using the populist language of the party to appeal to the peoples growing discontent, fear and insecurity.the Nazi party was a populist, authoritarian, right wing party.

this is not controversial.
this is documented with historical and academic rigor.there IS no argument.
this new "the Nazi's were leftists and socialists" is a fairly new development.perpetrated by whom you ask?

f**king NAZIS! you are literally making a Nazi argument!!!!
you know what?
I am just wasting my time here.who am I right? just some jagoff gutter rat on a meme site.
and you have already made it clear you think you know it all.
so allow me to present an argument that you can take the time to watch,or don't.up to you.

Who the f**k is "three arrows" and why the hell should I pay any attention to their youtube opinion? It looks like they're referencing SNOPES, which brings their credibility DOWN.

from your own source:

Were the Nazis socialists? No, not in any meaningful way, and certainly not after 1934.

did you bother to even read your source?
if it wasn't so sad,i would probably really enjoy slapping you around.

another point from your source, that makes MY point:

However, it was the effects of the Great Depression in Germany that brought the Nazi Party to its first real nationwide importance. The rapid rise in unemployment in 1929–30 provided millions of jobless and dissatisfied voters whom the Nazi Party exploited to its advantage. From 1929 to 1932 the party vastly increased its membership and voting strength; its vote in elections to the Reichstag (the German Parliament) increased from 800,000 votes in 1928 to about 14,000,000 votes in July 1932, and it thus emerged as the largest voting bloc in the Reichstag, with 230 members (38 percent of the total vote). By then big-business circles had begun to finance the Nazi electoral campaigns, and swelling bands of SA toughs increasingly dominated the street fighting with the communists that accompanied such campaigns.

how utterly pathetic.
to be burned by your own source.
*note* three arrows is a german who as a degree in...wait for it.....world history.and his take down of such media personalities as steven crowder and dinesh d'sousa are pretty epic.

you are free to believe what you wish.just know that your argument is a neo-Nazi argument.and if you attempt to make that argument in educated circles..you WILL be called out,and ridiculed.
toodles

Over the following years the brothers Otto and Gregor Strasser did much to grow the party by tying Hitler’s racist nationalism to socialist rhetoric that appealed to the suffering lower middle classes. In doing so, the Strassers also succeeded in expanding the Nazi reach beyond its traditional Bavarian base. By the late 1920s, however, with the German economy in free fall, Hitler had enlisted support from wealthy industrialists who sought to pursue avowedly anti-socialist policies. Otto Strasser soon recognized that the Nazis were neither a party of socialists nor a party of workers, and in 1930 he broke away to form the anti-capitalist Schwarze Front (Black Front). Gregor remained the head of the left wing of the Nazi Party, but the lot for the ideological soul of the party had been cast.

Which part of "founding principles" did you miss? And I DID recognize that the night of the long knives saw the removal of the socialist leaders. Is strawman the only argument that you have?
0 ups, 4y
you had your opportunity to show some humanity, and admit you were wrong.
but instead you let your pride and ego get in your way,and are now attempting to back peddle.

you got smoked homie.
with your own material.
that is not a straw man.

allow me a moment to inject some humanity.
I realize that it is...uncomfortable.
nobody likes being slammed in the nose.
we have all been there, and it sucks.so I get it.

so I say this with all the humanity and compassion:
take the hit.
learn from this...and move on.
I bear you no ill will.i think you are probably a decent dude, with good intentions, but you are swimming in my waters now.
you will not triumph here.
I will tear you to pieces.

so please..
I beg you.
do not go down this path my friend.
I would much prefer that we build a mutual respect for each other.
ball is in your court.up to you.

also from your source:

Hitler allied himself with leaders of German conservative and nationalist movements, and in January 1933 German President Paul von Hindenburg appointed him chancellor. Hitler’s Third Reich had been born, and it was entirely fascist in character. Within two months Hitler achieved full dictatorial power through the Enabling Act. In April 1933 communists, socialists, democrats, and Jews were purged from the German civil service, and trade unions were outlawed the following month. That July Hitler banned all political parties other than his own, and prominent members of the German Communist Party and the Social Democratic Party were arrested and imprisoned in concentration camps. Lest there be any remaining questions about the political character of the Nazi revolution, Hitler ordered the murder of Gregor Strasser, an act that was carried out on June 30, 1934, during the Night of the Long Knives. Any remaining traces of socialist thought in the Nazi Party had been extinguished.

any questions?

And finally you recognize that the party was founded on the principles of socialism. It took you turning validation of my assertion into an insult to do it...but I suppose you got there eventually.
0 ups, 4y
so they were were PRO-socialist before they purged all socialists from the party?

hahahahahahahaha….

guess they were PRO-jew as well?

gotta give ya credit, that is some impressive mental gymnastics.

He hasn't forgotten. It's a deliberate calculated move to confuse the lines of what right- and left-wing is in the first place.
