Let me clarify this meme, I do NOT hate Mexicans!
I have worked with, supervised, and dated Mexicans and Latin Americans, as well as other nationalities. They are just as patriotic and love this country as much as a native born American. They worked hard to earn the right to be an American citizen, and value it. Yes, EARNED it.

What I cannot abide with is illegal immigration and the politicians who do not support our sovereignty and immigration laws.

The reason we have immigration laws is to protect Americans, men, women, and children from disease, crime, drugs, and exploitation. Our laws are used in vetting who we allow in this country.

Circumventing these laws not only brings these problems and more to us, but fosters animosity towards Mexicans and other immigrants whom are all seen as illegals and criminals, which they are not.

The politicians do not support or sovereignty and immigration laws are criminals too. They swore to uphold these things and do not...all for the sake of getting elected. They are endangering the people who elected them and pay their salaries.

Laws have to be enforced, giveaway programs, anchor babies, free programs, sanctuary cities have to be addressed and stopped. We can’t afford the cost or problems associated with these issues.

Most opioids and lots of other drugs come in this country on foot from Mexican drug cartels. It’s easy, walk across the border unchecked. It has to be stopped, a wall will help.

So make the process easier for people to come here legally.

Why? It’s not hard. Making things easier = lowering standards. We’ve all seen what that’s done in this country, and it’s not good.

No, it is not. My grandparents got in the legal way. They did have to abide U.S. laws, however, learn English and declare themselves loyal to the nation they came to. This b.s. about it being too hard is a lie.

That part of the family arrived in the 1920's.

The entry process was pretty simple then. Basically....show up at Ellis island and sign your name or X if you were illiterate. Don’t compare those days to now. Or...revert to those days immigration laws. My Italian relatives came here then “without papers” and were called “WOPs” for it. And they got in with nothing. Legally.

Also- no one ever HAD to learn English to enter legally. My great grandmother couldn’t speak a lick of English. And she was legal.

I will if I want, Anonymous. Just because your family members may have different experiences, don't compare them to the experiences of mine. Save your libsplaining for for those whose ancestors came over on the Mayflower and get their history from Coppola films.

No, enforcing our laws and sovereignty is the solution.

I absolutely agree with defending our homes, but just because someone is Mexican does not make them a criminal. There are more Americans (of all races, creeds, and religions) that are criminals than Mexicans in this country, legal or not.

I wouldn't kill someone who breaks into my home, at least not intentionally. And there are places and people who would be willing to wave in people to their homes.
And, sometimes, illegal immigrants think that getting away from Mexico to America is the best choice for them and their family, a risk with what they think is a reward. Mexico isn't exactly a utopia. And they don't see the world like you do. I'm not saying they should all come here, but I sympathise with those who do.
