Sounds like a good plan to me. I took 3 years of German in high school and one semester in college. I remember how weird it felt to pronounce "W" as "vay"...and "v" is "fow"...like an f sound. I got used to it but at first I couldn't get my thick southern accent to do it, lol.

Then there was my friend who was trying to sound all sophisticated and use conversational German, and he asked me "was machst du in der schildkröte"? I forget what he was actually trying to ask me but it translates to "what are you doing in the turtle?" I died laughing for at least 5 minutes and he didnt understand why, when I finally told him he got so mad, it was hilarious! I never let him live that down...

A friend and I were playing D2 together and insulting each other. I accidentally typed Nitch and it became our go to insult since.

Lol, such an awesome game. I had several fairly high level characters and one really good one, a Paladin. Got all the way to the ancients battle on hell difficulty and it was so stupidly hard I could never get past it. Inevitably one of the three opponents was immune to physical damage and I could never beat them. I'm proud to have ever made it that far.
