Yeah if you could | YEAH IF YOU COULD NAME THAT POLICY THAD WOULD BE GREAT | image tagged in yeah if you could | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Everything that led to the recession stemmed from policies began long before Bush, but hey, just ignore history. When Bush tried to do something, it was the Democrats who were in charge of Congress who blocked it and said there wasn't a problem. I remember when Clinton signed the bill that started that ticking g time bomb, but you probably aren't even aware of all that.

Obama threw money at government, and all he built was more government jobs that required more borrowing to pay for them. The economy was stagnant under Obama his last two years, because it had been artificially held up by borrowed money. The moment he stopped quantitative easing, the stock market flatlined, not going up again until Trump won the election. It literally started the next day. Pull up the graphs. They speak for themselves.

You're cherry picking dates there to make your boy look good. The first few years of Obama, the economy had nowhere to go but up. It would have recovered regardless of his efforts. It's the last two that tell the story of how the first six were just artificially inflated due to quantitative easing. When that stopped, so did the growth. The quantitative easing didn't create jobs either, at least not in the private sector. It did stimulate the market, which is all your chart shows.

"People can quarrel with whether we should have more troops in Afghanistan or internationalize Iraq or whatever, but it is incontestable that on the day I left office, there were unaccounted for stocks of biological and chemical weapons."
-- Ex President Bill Clinton, Jul. 22, 2003 (Interview with CNN Larry King)

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
-- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002

"He has systematically violated, over the course of the past 11 years, every significant UN resolution that has demanded that he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons, and any nuclear capacity. This he has refused to do"
-- Rep. Henry Waxman (D, CA), Oct. 10, 2002

"I come to this debate, Mr. Speaker, as one at the end of 10 years in office on the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, where stopping the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction was one of my top priorities. I applaud the President on focusing on this issue and on taking the lead to disarm Saddam Hussein. ... Others have talked about this threat that is posed by Saddam Hussein. Yes, he has chemical weapons, he has biological weapons, he is trying to get nuclear weapons."
-- Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D. CA) Oct. 10, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
-- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

"We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction."
-- Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002

More profit = more profit sharing. Bonuses got bigger, and a raise went along with that. Company also invested in growth by hiring more people and buying more equipment, thus spurring the economy in other areas while giving higher paying jobs to new hires. That's just one job market, civil engineering. Multiply that across the entire construction industry and it snowballs from there. This exactly what happened in my sector. Wages went up due to low supply and high demand of workers.

I live in this "working sector". Engineers, surveyors, and the entire infrastructure industry is seeing this benefit. Starting salaries and rates are way up. Not clueless. I actually work, unlike your fat, retired, reemed out ass.

You think the infrastructure sector is doing better because of tax cuts to the wealthy? seriously? Whos paying the bills?

Taxcuts went to businesses as well. Lowest corporate tax rate in my lifetime, and probably yours. It trickles down. Those of us in the working world know this. That's why no one cares about the phony hyperbole spewed by you leftist trolls. We're doing better, and don't giveashit what CNN told ya.

Mexico? Trump's splendid wall anyways.

Or was it the Mexican army?
Something like that.

If you actually read the Jobs report you'd see that income is outpacing inflation. Everything I cited above is exactly what is happening in the "working folks" sector. And, based on that same report, minorities are having the biggest gains.

Can't argue with the debt. Only the reactions to it. Obama's economy was stagnant during 2014 - 2016 which correlates with the cessation of quantitative easing. That wasn't helping the economy, but artificially buttressing it.
We should be going down in debt, only if we actually had a fiscal conservative in office. We don't. The libertarian in me screams at this all the time, but there are no choices available to stop this. The upcoming Democrats are touring multi-trillion dollar programs that exceed our country's entire GNP. I don't know where they plan to get it, but I'm willing to bet they could care less about the national debt, because there isn't enough money in America to pay for these dreams.
Again, pointing out the Dems isn't so much about "whataboutisms" but about making sure the fingers are pointed at both parties. Your meme took care of one side, so I feel it's important for all to know that both these parties suck ass when it comes to being fiscally responsible.

Yes, it was when dems where running up the debt, but it seem to be OK with them when a rep does it.

Republicans only pretend to care about the debt and deficit when Democrats control the government.
