It does work both ways. Which is why they are being hired for minimum wage, as that is what their complete lack of skills are worth. Just north of nothing. But it is something, which they should be grateful for. Instead they demand more, and now they are being replaced by machines... which do a better job.
Who here doesn't love that you can go shopping and never have to interact with one of those morons at the register? I can (at no charge) make sure the things I purchase are bagged with care and done with (at the least) common sense. Who knew you didn't put eggs with milk? I mean they are both dairy, amirite?
The real demand is for skilled labor. Any mental midget can make a hamburger.
