Of course that's not how it works. For the science-challenged among us, a quick googling of the interweb reveals that the maximum solar irradiance on Mars is about 590 W/m2 compared to about 1000 W/m2 at the Earth's surface.
And, with Mars' being about 50% farther from the sun than the Earth, and its atmosphere being about 100 times thinner than Earth's, even if Mars received as much energy from the sun as the Earth does, it has no way to keep the energy on the surface as heat.
