Maybe they are, IDK what you mean by trade deals, AFAIK Trump is just talking about withdrawing from the trade deals, with China specifically, which i am totally on board with, China is strangling the entire west, not just US with it's cheap, mass produced junk goods, just because they have no standard of quality and western companies have no standard of, well, standards, they buy incredibly cheap Chinese products and then resell it to people in the west. Companies who don't do this can't compete on the market and is so doing China is slowly bleeding the west dry. If Trump wants to put a stop to that i am all for it, i am not sure if he will succeed but someone has to try, especially considering China's own anti competitive policies preventing money from flowing in both directions, western companies are generally banned or severely restricted from trading in the Chinese market, and China is constantly feeding it's population propaganda against Western companies, Trump is merely evening the playing field somewhat.
