Too old now, but I once made a my own mask using an old gas mask (I wear glasses and it allowed me to do so) and a fright wig and had a friend make my a full length cloak. My first trip to a bar with it, I parked and headed to the basement bar when around the corner came three guys dressed as the ghostbusters. One of them yelled "there he is!" and I led them down into the bar and they chased me around the island seating a couple of times. Good times.

Another costume idea was I had a fedora that I wore with a dark suit and white tie. Went as a Mafioso. (Got lucky that night) ;)

I usually just sit on the porch dressed as a plague doctor and play an accordion.

I dunno. The children in the neighborhood like it because I'm playing "Somewhere over the rainbow"--or something stupid like that.

Also, I like it because I always end up getting harassed by drunk parents who think I'm an anamatronic, and they freak the hell out when I turn and look at them in the eye.

We don't celebrate Halloween where I live (Bosnia), but I've been in a masquerade in 4th grade of elementary. I tried to make my own costume of Death (Grim Reaper). The best me and my family could do was a plastic skeleton mask from a Chinese convenience store, black hoodie and a homemade wooden scythe with silver collage paper for the blade (which the school confiscated from me for being "too dangerous").

Who knows if Ill do it this year.Maybe Ill just smudge some blood on my face and carry around a knife, and go out like that.I dont go out, but I might take my younger cousins trick-or-treating.
