For memes in the fun stream, it's almost like readers think that they need to pay up front for each upvote. I've had many memes in the fun stream, and each of them had many hundred views, lots of comments, and there were only about 3-4 total upvotes.

I think comment up votes get you more points? I have no idea what points are given for each action. If you want some upvotes. I am following you and will look through followed users to up vote them.
