You know 60 percent of the country doesn’t vote blue right? The second map could also be considered gerrymandered by Republicans. Also if you switch the rows to columns red would have 2 and blue would have 3. Is that stealing an election? To Democrats “No” but to Republicans “Yes”
You are, and you’re not wrong. While the percentages are certainly questionable, it’s not exactly incorrect in it’s point that gerrymandering is not only possible but eschews the actual percentage of the voting data.
