Global temperatures have been rising for years. So yeah, it’s still “global warming” but the effects are bigger than rising temperatures. Rising sea levels, rising sea temperature, fresh water displacement, more storms- hurricane and snow, more extreme weather and climate in general.

That’s why it’s now called climate change.

As for all dying in 10-12 years, well that depends on where on the planet you live now. Yes some will die I think that is certain, but the lifestyle of billions will be affected and that includes the developed world. F**k the planet, it will f**k you up right back.

As a surveyor who does work around the coast, I can tell you that our monuments set over 80 years ago to establish sea level elevations are only off by 2 centimeters. And that can be attributed to many things other than carbon emissions, such as earth's axis and the moon's gravitational effect in conjunction with tectonic plates still in motion. Regardless, there doesn't seem to be any objective data affecting catastrophic sea levels any time in the next several century. And there sure as hell isn't anything going on that's going to be fixed by taxing one country into oblivion.
