That's Not How Any Of This Works | THAT'S NOT HOW ANY OF THIS WORKS | image tagged in that's not how any of this works | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Because you don't understand how it works.

Since you're completely unfamiliar with anything the Bible actually says, let me point out a couple of actual verses in the actual Bible that talk about accountability:

"Stop being deceived; God is not mocked. A person harvests whatever he plants" - Galatians (that's in the New Testament) 6:2

"So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God." Romans (also NT) 14:12

"But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment." Matthew 12:36

Does that say "you can escape accountability"....? No. Quite the contrary. It says the exact opposite.

You have a pagan's understanding of God and the Bible, brought to you by the pagans who infest this world, calling themselves "believers", who have adopted fairy tales as truth, and are wholly deceived and enjoy having it so.

Every single person who has ever lived will have to face judgment. All of us. Every thought, word, and deed. NO ONE escapes accountability.

And there is no such thing as "eternal damnation"...again, another pagan lie from the pagan "believers" who dare call themselves "christians" and are anything but.

The most extremist atheists, who know nothing about the Bible, usually try to pass themselves off as it's greatest authority.

You actually are. Timber made his case, you don't have much of substance to say. That's okay, you're young but don't try to gaslight us. Make a substantial case or give it up.

The only case he made was a suitcase. The only people who would defend the things written in the Bible are mental patients, psychopaths, sociopaths, and general nutcases.

You cannot condemn the Bible when you don't have the first inkling about what is in it.

You didn't even know that there are spurious passages in the Bible.

On purpose.

By design.

And you certainly don't know why.

Nice case there, kiddo. Pathetic.

Oh I'M the nutcase? Somebody who believes things like murder, rape, torture, genocide, forced marriages, false flagging, and apathy are morally reprehensible? Get a life!

Calm down. You've taken what someone else has TOLD you is in the Bible, and uncritically accepted it as fact, without bothering to do even a smidgen of research for yourself. You don't understand the first thing about the Bible, or what it contains, and don't care to.

Thou shall not lie, thou shall not steal, thou shall not murder... all psychotic ideas. Go tip your fedora somewhere else, kiddy.

Just a brainwashed teen. Reciting anti Christianity dogma he's been told. Nothing wrong with questioning authority but one should be focused on truth. No one practises stoning or other things like torture from Leviticus.

I've read the Bible enough times to know what it contains.

Not enough, like everyone else who's 'read' it through and through unlike myself who has not yet manages to pull out the good stuff, like how Barabbas's - Yeshua bar Abba - name translates into Jesus, Son of the Father and 'also' convicted of inciting insurrection against Roman occupation, you know, like a Messiah is supposed to do and what the 'other' Son of the Father was arrested, tortured, sentenced, and 'executed' for.

Gotta love them Romans corrupting the Word of the Chosen with their pagan tales to retrofit it for their own purposes - just as prophecy said they would.

And yet, you're incapable of pointing out the specific places in the Bible that say what you claim it says. Funny, that.

The references should be specific enough.

"It says it somewhere in the Bible" is not a specific reference.

I know what's in the Bible. If I didn't, I wouldn't've made the meme. And by the way, you don't know anything about me, so you have no idea what I'm like.

1. What you are "like" is irrelevant to debunking your erroneous claims.

2. If you knew what was "in the Bible", you'd be able to answer simple questions about where the things are which you claim are in there. Hell, you don't even need that; a simple search will point you in the right direction.

3. Your "logic" is fallacious. Lots of people make memes about things they don't know.

1. My claims aren't "erronous".
2. You oughta know since you know the bible SO well.
3. No it's not.
0 ups, 1y
1. Sure they are. You've made all sorts of erroneous claims about what you think is in the Bible, like that it says "death is the only solution to problems" and "a guilty man can escape accountability." Most of the claims you've made about the Bible are false, borne of ignorance of the subject matter.

2. What I know or don't know isn't relevant...I'm not making claims about the Bible that I refuse to substantiate. You ought to support your accusations with evidence, or not make them.

3. Yes, it is. "If I didn't, I wouldn't've made the meme" is a logically fallacious statement. Lots of people make lots of memes about things they don't know. If I say "the sky is purple with pink polka dots", me merely saying it doesn't make it so.

Two charged with sedition.
Two named Jesus.
Two the Son of the Father.

And no such custom of releasing those sentenced to die by the Roman Empire - for leading insurrection against it, no less - recorded by anyone ever except in some books the Romans themselves 'found' a century or after the tales occurred.

tee hee

That pretty much sums up the Jesus loophole.
reply
0 ups, 1y
You didn't answer my question. I'm not interested in your filtered pagan understanding of what Jesus did on the cross. To the pagans who invented it, yes, it's a ridiculous loophole...and properly lampooned by Family Guy: "If you just say "I accept Jesus as my lord and savior!!" just before you die, it's a perfect get out of jail card."

Except that's bullshit.

That's not how it works.

At all.

That's the pagan's view, unfortunately repeated by others. It's pure fantasy, no more valid than the story of Hansel & Gretel or The Three Little Pigs.

The Bible says differently.

Takeaway: the "Jesus loophole" is fiction, invented by pagans who called themselves believers to justify their wicked behavior while lying to themselves that it didn't matter what they did, they had a "get out of jail free" card.
