Worse part was as a child they couldn't figure out what I was allergic to that was hurting me all the time. Then we moved to a city that wasn't aerial spraying for mosquitoes and I could breath again.
Now I rarely have problems.

Seasonal allergies on occasion...that's about it. My wife on the other hand...

I believe that is a real thing. They call it prickly heat. If I lie in the sun too long without acclimating first I get a terrible itchy rash all over. I have to take it in 2 minute increments at first and work up to 5 minutes and then slowly up to maybe 10-15. I never get beyond 15 minutes in a season.

There may be certain allergens that become air born in humidity.

I lived in Colorado for a few years. Very low humidity. I loved it. Moved to Florida and thought I would drown in the humidity. It was hard to get used to. It didn't affect me like that, but it was unpleasant. I am willing to bet that the greater occurrence of things like mold in humid areas like steamed up bathrooms and such or humid areas of the US is the culprit.

In Florida they have a fairly common issue of what they call "Red Tide". It stinks like something dead. It would always irritate people's allergies. You would be miserable for sure!

We lived in Pensacola for about 3 years. The first time I got a whiff of that I was nauseated. I am thinking the closer you are to the coast line the worse it is. We were really close so it was really bad for us.

It makes my mouth peel inside. Mouthwash also. I brush my teeth using just water and a tooth brush. If I'm feeling frisky I will brush with coconut oil. I have been know to do oil pulling from time to time as well.

I'm also allergic to wool, dust and fabric softener
