It's all about the delivery. Make it funny with inflections and timing, it can be done with humor. Be an ass or just plain sarcastic, even the wrong facial expression and it can be extremely offensive.

I love dark humor, and I think it’s sad that, just like clean water, not everyone gets dark humor. I got expelled from my Catholic high school partly because I had a web history of dark humor (mainly about the Nazis) on my IPad.

Many doctors do care, but they don’t know that vaccines are harmful. But the higher-ups only care about profit.
