I honestly can’t decide whether I find your name or DJFox’s name funnier. Is your name basically supposed to say that you’re a vagabond soufflé?

I wanted something that sounded borderline haughty yet be utterly stupid at the same time but still have an at least vague meaning and also roll off the tongue nicely. Like "PunkStew" or "RuffianCasserole" didn't quite cut it.
Ambiguous meaning too, because it can signify that I am a soufflé or making a soufflé or delivering a soufflé or just a pretentious dolt trying to be fancy with a French word or mocking such, etc, etc....
The accent mark wouldn't post, so Soufflé ended up "Souffle"

DJFox is an idiot. That name was actually pretty decent-ish and stuck out, unlike the whatever stupidity he calls himself now.

Yeah, I already knew that letters with diacritics, ligatures besides W (like Æ/æ, Œ/œ, & ẞ/ß), non-Latin letters, and other letters besides A-Z can’t be used, because I originally wanted to name myself “Mario Þe Rebel” to be consistent with my Google account’s name. I thought it would look cool to use the Icelandic letter þorn (which used to represent the TH sound in old English). This made me unsure about whether you wanted to be called “souffle” or “soufflé”, since both seem to exist in the dictionary. I guess “PunkStew” didn’t sound as good because it’s not long enough. I love the memorable satire of the name you picked!

Yeah, the system wouldn't allow for the accent mark in ''soufflé'' - and I tried and tried via the tablet and even copypasting - so ''Souffle'' had to do.

And yes, Vagabond was partly in reference to muh Punk roots going way back, but also in general connotations of the word, as in partly self-depricating as well, or even rabble rousing, etc.
I knew someone who went by ''Hooligan,'' so that wouldn't do.

I got into a flame war with him recently. I ended up retreating because victory seemed unlikely since it was turning into a two against one battle. I did go a little far, though. I messed with him via alt accounts and PMs for a bit (and failed to make it look like the alt was someone else) because he harassed someone I had respect for into leaving this site. What I did was quite low. Thankfully, the mod I spoke to is pretty forgiving.

But yeah. The battle resulted in him going full-apeshit and stalking me wherever I go on this site. He even snapped at a friend of mine.

But, him acting like this is understandable. He's is the close-minded toxic type that the internet reeks of. They crave nothing more than to cause.
