They're actually at White Sands in New Mexico. There's also stories of a huge stash of Spaniard gold in Victorio Peak at White Sands that was removed by the military, and several people being killed over it. Which also makes a great cover story for people disappearing while snooping around.

Of course there are no aliens in Area 51. For many weeks, there have been reports of people storming Area 51. So the aliens were moved weeks ago.
