Well, I just wonder what the reaction would be if it wasn't Saudi Arabia that were fighting them. It just seems more of a legitimate target then Iran. I just worry than going into Iran might turn out horribly bad.

All war is bad, especially when you don't commit to winning. Something America has somehow forgot how to do, not just in conflict, in a lot of places. But there are lots of options to affect change besides a high BOG count. But Iran has been treated as a bigger foe than it actually is. A lot of things have happened during the Syria conflict to expose that.
