Osama, if he saw the American government turn down innocent people because of their religion, would have even more cause and conviction to carry on his Islamic crusade. Perhaps even stronger. Trying to pin 9/11 on an entire religion is completely inconsiderate. Sure, Islam was a motivator for 9/11, but an attack on innocent lives is not what Islam is about. It's immorality under the conviction of something better. I do not deny 9/11 was an atrocity done by Islamic extremists, but nor do I want to judge people for the actions of things they did not do, and have no responsibility for.

Osama is responsible for the deaths of nearly 3000 people in the USA, he couldn't give two shits about "innocent" Moslems from countries he didn't even like being banned from becoming citizens in the land of the great infidel. Not like many from those broke broken countries were coming here or anywhere (note the similarities between them that separates them form other countries not on the list, including THE major sponsors of Islamic terrorism).

You're young, you have no memory of what the UK was like when I was your age. Paki bashing instead of Pakis raping. They took the abuse, now they dish it worse.
Meanwhile real British - from the land that birthed the National Front and neo-Nazi Skinheads - are somewhat taken aback about the Rotherham and other town rape gangs. But doing something against them is racist, yes? Which is why they got away with it in the first place.

Numbers. If you think it's all a matter of letting them settle in and giving them a cuddle, you are dead wrong. (Sadly pun may inadvertantly be intended). As their numbers grow, so does their arrogance. Their contempt for the UK, US, EU, and all the rest is out in the open. It's not going away one day because they realized us infidels are really swell guys.

You know what happened on 9/12/01? The IRA, ETA, PKK, and the rest like they all went MIA. Every. single. one. Eeeeeeexcept Islamic terrorists (the PKK is an ethnic liberation, not religious terrorist outfit).
Name a country where Moslems haven't gone on the rampage since then. I'll make it easy for you, Myanmar. That's it. True, Israel and China brutally oppress their Islamic populations, but those people do have terrorists in their ranks.
Meanwhile every country that has opened their arms to these 'simply misunderstood' Muslims have been subject to what in ever increasing frequency? Every. single. one.

Thinking it's a matter of doing away with prejudices and hatred is fair enough.
Problem is, when one group does that and the other doesn't, the results are a tad lopsided.
