I think Occam's razor tells us that he just couldn't admit he was wrong, but this explanation that he was trolling the media is less embarrassing. Of course if he really was trolling us, what was he doing that he was trying to distract us from? Inviting the Taliban to Camp David? Having the Army pay stop at an airport near his resort in Scotland to enrich himself? Taking money from military programs because not even Republicans will vote to support his ludicrous wall? His absurd failing trade war with China?

The problem is Trump wasn't wrong.

Even CNN reported on-air Alabama was in danger. NOAA admitted that when the President made the statement Alabama was projected to be hit. Then there is the fact Mobile, Alabama is about 60 miles from Florida, and we are talking about a storm that was roughly 1,000 miles in diameter. Any part of Florida being hit necessarily means Alabama will be hit as well.

It's just pathetic that you are so easily controlled that you believe Trump was wrong simply because some idiots in the MSM told you Trump was wrong.

NOAA never admitted that, they were pressured politically to make the President's falsehoods seem true. Also, if Trump is claiming that he was trolling the media, then he himself admitted it's just a game to him.
