Well I don't know about America, but in Germany the most Ac i have is a Ventilator I found in the attic from before the first world war and I don't drive an SUV. It is also possible to be Climate friendly while still eating meat. I do it for one. You don't strictly have to do it. It helps, alot. But you dont have to do it.
