Indeed, if I understand it correctly, it would have actually been against the law (Israel's) to allow them into the country.

I believe they passed the law in 2017. Ariel Gold, who is Jewish and with CodePink was previously banned because of her support for BDS.

The people complaining it is wrong for countries to ban members of Congress, cheered when countries threatened to ban Trump, who at the time stood a good chance of becoming president.
