I have a list of bands I just never could get into. People always look at me like I'm crazy when I say I don't like certain ones, because it really seems almost everyone likes these guys.

And yet, there was a Christian band out in the 90s called "Third Day" where the leader sounded so much like Pearl Jam lead singer Eddie Vedder! And I loved them! Go figure

We can high five on that Pearl Jam thing! I think they have ONE song that I really like. There could possibly be two songs, I just can't think of the other one right now. But yeah OVERRATED.

Third day = best Christian band.
In fact, their latest album, unlike other respectable christian bands (Skillet, Ashes Remain, Casting Crowns), actually maintains a high level of quality, it sounds very 60's rock/blues inspired.

I don't know if I think the are THE BEST, I guess it depends on what you like really. I have a lot that I like. I don't know that I have a real favorite.

Usually I meet those who appear to, or claimed to be Christians but sooner or later discovered them to have a different Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9) or a different god (like the Jehovah's Witnesses, LDS, or Apostolics).

That makes this meeting all the more encouraging!
