YES! I love him so much! I am kind of glad he isn't more popular though. I imagine he would get ruined if he got too big! What is your favorite song by him?

Ah sheeeeit! That guy's still alive! I can't believe it. I have a guitar mag from like 10 years ago with an interview with him I was recently reading and I assumed he was dead. Right on for him!

Terrible sad story, got als as soon as he joined David le Roth. Started losing muscle function and couldn't tour. Was just lucky enough to finish the album. Been in a chair for 20yrs or so. Still composes with his eye. Just got a new cd of ppl playing his new stuff

Also, Roy Clark of Hee Haw fame was one of the most versatile musicians around.
Check this shite out:

Was chatting about guitarists with someone last night, I mentioned him. Amazing talent. (R.I.P.)

It was murder for the guy to play a gig. Constant retuning. A shame he had so little promotion too. Actually shocking to think he put out three albums and only had one single interview in a piece that was like 4 paragraphs.

Oh, I meant Roy.
I'm unfamiliar with this fella. Sad he's gone.

Sounds like music I could get into. No nonsense just a voice and guitar.

Great fingerpicker, you gotta check this unreleased track. He only had 3 records released in his lifetime: https://youtu.be/ikocOSQW_9M

Beat me to Nick Drake.
Good choice, beautiful and relaxing yet haunting and thought provoking at the same time.

Peace.

Boma beat me to Shakey Graves. So I will have to go with Ben Harper.

Jamie Dupuis, acoustical artist that does creative things with some very different instruments. The songs are mostly covers so it's more his style that I like.

Also Dario Rossi, amazing street performer that uses just about anything made of metal to make his own drum set and does some epic performances. Draws a crowd wherever he goes.

Sounds interesting. I've always liked acoustic music. It's very 'easy listening'.

Then you'll like him, he does covers of a lot of metal and classic rock songs. His version of Metallica's "One" is awesome. serene and bad ass at the same time

Sorry, not "One", I meant "Unforgiven"

Was never a fan of their music, overrated in my opinion 乁( ⁰͡ Ĺ̯ ⁰͡ ) ㄏ but that's just me ;)

For sure, it’s a bit out there and heavy on the repetitive guitar riffs.

These guys are top-tier Death Metal. Best albums to start off are "Consuming Impulse" and "Testimony of the Ancients", bpth often regarded as their best. Image related album is awesome, but very prog and even more difficult to get into (which is why the band got a little notoriety when they released it). Their newest album, " Hadeon" from 2018, seems to be a synthesis of "Testimony" and "Spheres". Anyways, these guys are surely wprth checking out.
