In this case, red was applied before blue. You can see the blue screen was laid over the red ink.
This occurred when registration marks were misaligned/ignored.

Since ONLY and OUTLAWS WILL HAVE GUNS are both blue, they were on the same screen. Space between WHEN GUNS ARE OUTLAWED and ONLY depends on the placement of the blue screen.

I have some issues with the font choice- it doesn't match what's in the red or blue. But maybe they wanted to use a block font that really differs to emphasis it?

The Democrats have always used Union printers for their merch. Union shops leave a "bug" mark on all their products so show it was union made.

That sticker doesn't have that mark.

As there weren't any elections in the United States at the Federal or State levels in 1969, that suspicious Only, and the lack of union marks I don't think this is legit at all.

It was a Democrat party produced item in Chicago at the time and the date on the sticker was 1969. Campaign propaganda isn't ONLY produced in an election year moron. These very well may have been distributed at campaign rallies for a 1970 election cycle. Elections are every two years as anyone who follows politics knows. If I recall, I think this was for a state or city official. The fine print had more details that I scanned in for my eBay listing at the time. I just ran across this pic on my computer and thought how stark things have changed and decided to make a meme about the 180 the Democrats have done on gun control, just like on immigration. If I could post videos of Hillary, Biden, Billy Clinton and Obama sounding like Trump on immigration problems within the last decade, you'd probably start telling everyone the videos are fake or taken out of context.
