I'm fine, just been super busy at work. My mother in law is about to have surgery on monday and we dont have much help for her, or us with child care for that matter, so next week is probably going to be pretty busy again...life sucks sometimes, but dad gummit you gotta persist and make the best of it! Overall I'm very blessed to even have these problems.

maybe, honestly i don't know. but i thought the book was good. I really try not to consume myself with who says what in the news to that level, i have enough other things to concern myself with :)

no worries man, i'm easy going. the book is about a post apocalyptic world where all the residents have been rounded up into camps and forced into slave labor. it uses a lot of the same concepts that 1984 does like not speaking against the government, hidden meanings in words like doublethink and newspeak, etc.

Sounds interesting, I always had a thing for post apocalyptic, I suppose starting with Planet of the Apes, the Forbidden Zone...
