I only read Christine, which was a delightful way of stretching a 200 pager into 500 excrutiatingly mind numbing ones.
Everyone tells me it wasn't his best, but I never bothered reading anymore of his.
He had the audacity to criticize the movie, like it didn't do it justice. Which I suppose is true if your aim is to bore your audience into a 20 year coma.
okay…every single adult on this site has given me a "don't do drugs" lecture…what they don't realize is it's already too late……I'm constantly taking Tylenol, and ibuprofen…..
no worries man, i'm easy going. the book is about a post apocalyptic world where all the residents have been rounded up into camps and forced into slave labor. it uses a lot of the same concepts that 1984 does like not speaking against the government, hidden meanings in words like doublethink and newspeak, etc.
maybe, honestly i don't know. but i thought the book was good. I really try not to consume myself with who says what in the news to that level, i have enough other things to concern myself with :)
