While I don't think it's right to laugh at anyone's misfortune, I do see this incident as an opportunity for the guy to learn. If Cummings doesn't see that Baltimore can do better than that after being a victim of his own city, he truly is a moron that doesn't deserve the job he has.

I live near Baltimore, we used to go to Inner harbor when I was a kid(in 50's now) It was a beautiful city, I am from Philly and thought it was nicer. It started going down hill, crime went way up. The last time I went there about 25 yrs ago for a bachelor party and my 1 buddy got mugged coming out of a bar.I never went back again, I never spent a dime again on that city along with the 50 other guys on the bus. I am sure there were many more like us with he same experiences who also stopped be tourists there.

Crime kills cities. Every time you see a heinous individual on the news doing a crime they always say "Multiple repeat offender"

I went there about 8 years ago for Otakon and literally nobody would be out after 9pm as if the city were under martial law. I could tell even then that the city was a bit unusual. And I agree with your statement, which is why I'm not really a fan of democrats.
