I see what you're getting at, but it feels like a false equivalency.

Conservatives seem to dominate the normal political stream, they didn't need to flee to form a separate stream. It looks like someone did it "just because".

The PoliticsToo stream appears to have been done as a response to a whooping in the regular stream. It's kind of... sad...

There have been Liberals, left wingers and what not on Imgflip before Politicstoo, it just gives us a place to meet and share our memes amongst oneanother.

Not quite sure why the stream was formed or what led up to the stream being formed, but i don't think that was the reasoning as, if that were true, the stream would have appeared much sooner(I am sure somewhere we definitely lost an argument, or someone did get their feathers ruffled). I just think someone just up and went, "screw this. our memes never get to see the light of day light in this stream" At least thats my personal theory. Go ask AN0NYM0US if you want to know, I think he is the founder.

That's a fair point. I haven't been on this site very long but so far I've never seen a leftist meme on the first few pages of politics. I can see that being frustrating.

@Chanon - believe me, I understand the motivation, I get called all sorts of nasty things by right wingers on this site all the time (when I'm active). But I noticed I change in the feel of imgflip with the creation of politicsTOO, and part of that change is that the already right wing politics seems even more extreme. I just wanted to get everyone else's perspective.

The stuff on here is really soft-core compared to what I'm used to! If it's tipping to the right you're going to be in for a shock once the real stuff hits. Hopefully a rude "awakening" too ;)
