once, in high school...there was a guy that no one really liked. he picked on me a good bit and i'm pretty laid back so most of the time i would just roll my eyes and say "that's nice", and walk away. one day i had enough of it and told him to STFU and go back to s***ing di*k and leave me alone. he hit me as hard has he could, it didn't feel very good but i just looked at him straight faced and called him pathetic. he walked off and we never talked again. my advice to anyone who is bullied, don't give any satisfaction by reacting the way they want you to, and just disassociate with them if you can. that includes on this website, ignoring malicious comments (as hard as that is sometimes) is the best way to make them go away.

Petitions for only bbq'ed lunches. Contacting the SLPC about students saying negative things about bbq. Your insane crusade about how the only 4 wheeled 'vehicles' on the road should be barbecues. Buggy whipping innocent vegans. You went too far. You needed to be stopped.
Damn son, you get drunk and decide to drudge up old comments or something? LOL!!! double points for the "buggy whipping vegans" mental image...you got me crackin' up!
Yeah. Also got into quite a few fights with him, all of them ending with draws, or with someone interrupting us. We're on relatively good term now, though.

I think most people have probably experience bullying at some point in their lives. Especially people who are more introverted. I experienced it myself during my school years and at work.
Most kids did not like me. I was teased and taunted daily. At times it got physical. Even when I had "friends" they were more like enemies. I was the misfit amongst misfits. I never formed long lasting friendships for the most part. There were a few people who were nice and seemed genuine along the way but we weren't close. To this day I do not like people and avoid social situations when I can.

We moved a lot. 6 schools in 12 years in different cities, different parts of the country. Funny to you might be that I was never picked on in Florida, but it wasn't until we moved to Massachusetts.
In Florida new kids in school was a common occurrence and I made a few friend each move easily. In the small town we moved to up north was kids that had known each other forever and new kids were rare. When I finally graduated all my friends were fellow out of state transplants.
Interestingly enough the Kid voted coolest in class is now one of my best friends. We never spoke in school and it wasn't until i started shooting pool leagues that we found we had a lot in common.
But the last time someone tried to bully me was when the jocks had decided that they were going to beat the crap out of one of the dweebs like me a week behind the school. The biggest, dumbest jock told me I was next and he was going to destroy me. I told without blinking that yeah no shit he was going to win the fight and then I was going home to get me dad's gun and then shoot him in the back. He got very scared and left me alone from then on. (My dad never owned a gun)
