WOW! That sure takes you back to it. Koresh was a megalomaniacal psycho. But Janet Reno had all the finesse of a baboon trying to open an oyster with a sledge hammer. In my opinion, which ain't worth the paper it's printed on, she was acting like someone with the ability to handle the situation, but who was a total failure. She embarrassed law enforcement and caused much of the carnage because Clinton was trying to appear politically correct rather than than appoint a professional who may have been the wrong gender.

Not one shot fired from within. Every shot came from outside the compound.

Independent filmmaker Michael McNulty came upon some evidence that appeared damaging to the government. He found a shell casing from a certain type of tear gas round that could start a fire - a device the Justice Department had denied using for more than six years - publicly and to Congress.

"Congress was mislead on this; there is no question about it," says Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Johnston, the top justice department official in Waco. He worries that someone in the Justice Department hid the truth.

For several weeks Johnston wrote to his superiors warning them that the new evidence contradicted what they had been saying. But the Justice Department did not change its story until August, when Attorney General Janet Reno was forced to admit that the tear gas round had been used.

Investigators have concluded that two of these devices were used. Though credible experts still overwhelmingly believe the Davidians started the fire, the damage had been done. The FBI was caught in a lie.

Bravo! Your information lends credence to the actual corruption and lies Janet Reno, the DOJ & others of law enforcement perpetrated to protect a truly criminal justice department under attorney general Reno. I believe his type of corruption allowed to fester resulted in the actions that led to the seditious behavior of the the FBI, CIA, DOJ against President Trump's tenure. It is why Comey and the rest should face justice. If you can get away with crime it becomes endemic to the system. The statement you shared of McNulty's work has convinced me. Thank you. Vince Vance

I'm not sure if that's been proven or not. The government audio would like us to believe that, but there is some compelling evidence and testimony to the contrary.

It's likely they were started when a lantern got damaged and lit the hay that was blocking the windows but who knows. The whole thing could have been avoided.

Poor word choice on my part. The way you phrased it was rather ironical... that here's this big stand-off and it could have all started with something g as non-aggressive as a lantern falling over. Pardon my error. The loss of innocent life is quite tragic.

Ahhhh, I get you now. No worries.

I didn't politics when it happened, but I wonder how much of what they said about Koresh was true.

You never know. Politicians are pretty slimey as a whole.... both sides of the aisle. Look at Paul Ryan. He is the fault that there was no immigration reform. He, to me, is a bigger villain than any of the 4 w**resmen of the apocalypse. (AOC, Omar, Tlaib, Pressley).

Paul RINO. At least you knew dems would play politics with Trump. That was a given. Ryan is probably the worst 'republican' since Trump got in but it's a competitive category. McCain, is up there.

McCain was every bit as nefarious... AND... it seems that the sedition of Ryan, McCain and that filth Romney was motivated by simple jealousy. Rhinos who are so petty that they would rather destroy America rather than join forces to combat these far left socialists. Vince Vance

These are the Stereotypical Dogs of the "Dog in the Manger." They can't eat the hay (govern) but the will not allow the cow (Trump) have his fill (do his job).
