Explain please. You can disagree with policy but he's explained how he would pay for free tuition at state schools and healthcare.

Right now, our policy is to give a huge tax cut that mainly went to the wealthiest people, and our yearly deficit has ballooned from 400 billion to over 1 trillion per year. Whatever the plan was, it has not paid for itself and is putting us in greater debt. THAT, seems like Bernie Madoff to me.

Thanks for asking. How does Socialist pay for anything?? They don't. We do. There is no free healthcare and there is no free college. Both of these Bernies are running the same game. Someone has to pay for them.

The tax cuts are working and our economy has been booming. Chances are that YOU are better off than under Obama's policies so why are you sooooo concerned about others and their tax cut?? The word for this is ENVY.

It is not the role of Government to give away stuff and take over industries.

My income has been determined for the next three years. Who's President has little impact on what I make and little impact on what anyone makes. Yes, our economy is booming, as it should be when we spike the bowl during good times.

Have we ever done that before?
We drop taxes to spur the economy during bad times, not good times. "Doing something that has never been tried before and not knowing the outcome", is the definition of liberal ideology. That is this President through and through.

What's going to happen in the next downturn that ultimately, will happen regardless of who's President? We'll have no interest rates we can lower because they are already too low, we'll have no taxes we can cut because no one is paying taxes. There is no room to kick start the economy when things go into a downturn. THAT is the problem.

No one is a socialist just because they realize our healthcare system is a disaster and we need to change it. College costs have grown 1000X faster than healthcare. These two issues are breaking the American middle class. Understanding this is the first step. I'm not necessarily for any particular fix but I too know the system is broken.

LOL!! The system is broken so go and break it down completely? Turn it over to the most wasteful organization around - the government!! Your talking points sound nice but they aren't thought through. Healthcare cost have not gone down since the "AFFORDABLE" Healthcare Act. It's been anything but.

Taxation absolutely makes a difference and we just witnessed it. President Trump just passed a major tax reform and the economy is booming and the Communist are running on changing it. So, it's nonsense that the president makes little or no difference. Obama told us to get used to the dragging economy.

One is not Socialist for realizing that there are problems - which you are trying to say. One is a Socialist for their solution to the problem. Turning an industry over to government fits the definition of a Socialist. What we need is not a government monopoly but competition which would put the customer/citizen in the center. Forcing companies to compete for our dollars also forces these companies to offer more services for less when they compete with each other for our dollars. Get the government out of it or keep them limited in their scope. They aren't experts in these things and they can't even run themselves. Tell me I'm not correct.

A single payer healthcare system in America would be the single greatest driver of economic growth, freeing people from jobs they hate and allowing them to start their own businesses without fear of catastrophic healthcare expense.

You are in effect, for a socialist state by supporting this system that is draining away American freedom.

Oh?? Fear of health failing is what's stopping Americans from owning their business? That's a new one - AKA - leftist propaganda. According to PowerHomeBiz.com the most common reasons people don't start home businesses are the following and they don't list the one you just noted. Maybe it's #13 but it sure is't number one.

1. Fear of failure.
2. Inadequate resources to start a business.
3. No exposure to entrepreneurship.
4. Don’t want the stress of entrepreneurship.
5. Passion for their Jobs.
6. Lifestyle choice.
7. Views starting a business as tough, hard work.
8. Poor view of people with money.
9. No idea what business to start.
10. Fear of selling.
11. Need the security of a steady paycheck.
12. Not driven to succeed.

Half the people I know, stay at the jobs they don't like for ONE reason. The insurance! Remove healthcare from the job and you would see two things happen.

1. Pay would dramatically increase overnight because without being able to dangle good healthcare as an incentive to stay, people would walk!
2. Half the population would quit the jobs they hate the next day and start their own businesses.

Speak with anyone in business and they will tell you their number one issue is not wages, not competition, and certainly NOT taxes! It is the spirally cost of healthcare that they all struggle with!

It is sinking all of us. We're ranked 13th in the developed world in quality of healthcare and our costs are TWICE that of any other nation. A system that bad isn't defendable.

Twice the cost because it's twice as better. What happens when there's a monopoly and government controlled? It's all sunshine and roses until you get it. Why did that drugged out Rolling Stone dud come here for surgery? Doesn't he get FREE healthcare in his country? He's not the only one who's done this?

The rest of your comment is pure speculation.

I did not say that it is, "twice as better" It is ranked 13th. Hardly, "twice as good" as any 1st world nation. It's impossible to carry on an intelligent conversation with anyone who does not know this.

And how much better is first over 13th? Twice? 1%? Millionaire rocker Mick Jagger has enough money to have surgery done anywhere on the planet and he chose.... AMERICA.

Look everyone, James likes to come in 13th. He thinks that's the best place for America. Nice work James.

Typical talk from someone who lives in a net taker (welfare) State.

There is no free anything in case you haven't noticed (and you haven't, see sentence above), and that includes stuff already being paid for (or not, hence deficits), not just Bernie fantasies that will never come to be.

Don't like Socialism? Don't call 911, don't flush your toilet, wash you hands, put out the garbage, drive down the street, drive, buy gas, buy anything, use electricity, the internet, and for crimminy's sake, turn off you stupid device and get out and do something other than sit around complaining about getting fat because our subsidized socialist food is so cheap.
