It is “the supreme law of the land.” When the Supreme Court issues a decision it is law, even though it is not legislation, Roe v Wade is essentially unique, because it is likely the only United States Supreme Court decision that sets forth specific criteria, like legislation does, when it sets a specific number of weeks for a fetus to be medically viable. Roe v. Wade cannot be changed by legislation. You are mistaken. Yes, any state can pass a law that violates Roe v Wade, but it will almost always be struck down as unconstitutional before ever making it to the Supreme Court. The only hope the pro lifers have, is to pass an illegal abortion law, pray it survives through the state court in the state it was passed in, then pray for an appeal to the Supreme Court and then pray that the Supreme Court will reverse Row v Wade. It’s as likely to happen as it was to impeach trump. It’s a fairy tale for TV and internet news. Rowe v Wade is law and it’s not going away.
