Absolutely! Blind Guardian's Orchestral album is the Cyberpunk 2077 of Metal!

I'm impatienly awaiting it's release. Hoping to catch them live at some point. Something to cross off my bucket list.

Typically, they're considered Power Metal (bardic, epic-fantasy/europagan themes(dragons, wizards, elves, dwarves, trolls, dungeons etc), much more melodic and happy-sounding than other metal types). I'd say they're a bit more aggressive and melancholic than that.

If it's the albums you're interested in, I'd choose what I called the three Silmarils of Blind Guardian, namely "Imaginations from the Other Side", "Nightfall in Middle-Earth" and "A Night at the Opera"

A lot of people come to me telling me they like Nightwish (and I can see why), both on the Internet and IRL. If you like that, check out the last two Blind Guardian's albums ("At the Edge of Time" and "Beyond the Red Mirror"), since they're pretty symphonic themselves. Wintersun may also be a good band to check out ("Death and the Healing" as the best starter song).
