WRONG!

Gotta give credit to the artist who made that doll though, that is some fine craftsmanship.

A miscarriage is an accident, and the earth is imperfect. There’s a whole bunch of reasons people have miscarriages, and that doesn’t make it evil. It’s just a part of life. It’s a sucky part, but that’s all it is.

If death weren't a part of the picture the complaint would be about how we have 20,000,000,000 people on the planet. Not to mention, Heaven's gates don't open to mortals. Death is necessary, and isn't good or evil. Only those who fear death think of it as evil. The means however...

If good actively prevented sin, we wouldn't be around to have this conversation. Being the ruler doesn't mean exercising total control over every aspect of one's behavior, but reserving the right to administer justice when laws are broken.

There, a little less tired and lazy now.

And for the record, I'm an atheist, or at the very least agnostic. Jesus ain't doing shit for me.

Are you suggesting God should physically prevent people from committing murder . . . Since he’s in control of everything, as you say?

No wonder you don’t believe in God, if that’s what you think he is.

The difference being, I think, that miscarriages are "natural" (tabling arguments over environmental factors that may have caused the miscarriage) as opposed to the direct wilful act of ending a human life (without good cause.)

If you think everything that happens on earth is allowed or caused by God, then you really have no idea who God is - which also explains why you aren’t convinced by all the evidence of his existence.

By your logic, no one should ever die since God is anti-murder. I know you’re smarter than that so spare us the attempted irony.

The earth and everything living on it. Scientists think the entire universe was formed by chance which takes a pretty vivid imagination to believe. If you understand all the intricacies with the earth being just the right distance from the sun with a moon orbiting it to keep its own orbit around the sun stable, plus the tilt of the earth to create the seasons . . . Then look at the human body and all they systems working together just right. It’s pretty obvious there was intelligent design involved. Plus the creation is documented in scripture for good measure.

But if you’re a cynic who doesn’t want to know the truth, all the evidence in the world won’t change your mind. Ironically, all the evidence *is* the world.

Try reading your source
“In the language of science, the word "law" describes an analytic statement. It gives us a formula that tells us what things will do.”
So, jumping off a bridge tests the “law” of gravity.

You know that the sun is shrinking, right? Earth wasn't always in the "Goldilocks Zone", at least not completely. Mars used to be there, however, and is now on the outskirts, ie survivable with minimal protection.

It is true that the Sun is very slowly expanding and getting brighter right now. """

Welp, I stand corrected then. Wonder where I heard it was shrinking.

The sun is expanding and shrinking at the same time?

As I understand it, it's not in the expansion stage yet.

“Jump off a bridge and test the ‘theory’ of gravity yourself”
Gravity is a law, not a theory.

I was talking about the earth being just the right distance from the sun to support life.

“Life exists on Earth, but Earth came first, and life developed later”
Funny, that’s how the book of Genesis describes the creation. And you say you don’t believe the Bible 😉

You see the device you’re using to comment here, right? Do you see the person who designed it or built it? Just because you don’t see them, doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

I’ve told you this before. If you really want to know if God created the Earth, study the scriptures and get on your knees and pray about it. But do it sincerely. That’s how you’ll know the truth.

“It's a claim. It's not evidence for the claim.”
You could say that about any history or science book. The difference is you trust (have faith in) the authors of them, but that doesn’t make scientific theory true.

There’s no scientific evidence whatsoever that a gravitational singularity of infinite density contained all the mass and space-time of the Universe before it began to rapidly expand. This is just something physicists came up with to try to explain a theory that, at one time, the universe didn’t exist.
