Best meme I've seen in a while. You can dayum well bet if the electoral college had gone the Democrat party's way, they would absolutely not be pushing for the popular vote determining how a state's EC votes are apportioned, or just a flat out total for the national popular vote.

As usual, their beliefs are VERY situational, VERY fluid, depending on how they are doing.

Every state that's joined the popular vote compact is one that voted for Hillary in 2016. Pretty obvious they're just trying to change the rules because they lost.

True. They base their strategy on the history of more Democrats than Republicans losing the presidency while getting the popular vote. What they don’t think about is, if we actually did do away with the EC, Republican candidates would change their campaign strategy to go after the popular vote.
They’re like little kids who keep changing the rules of the game when they’re losing, forgetting that the other team will use those same rules against them.
