As much as I disagree with the idea of an abortion that doesn't have a really solid reason behind it (as in the fetus is so deformed that it will die any way or the mother-to-be was raped), I feel that I really have to point out that the father isn't the one with a baby growing inside of him, nor is he always held accountable for taking care of the baby once it's out. If you're going to make a pro-life meme, I suggest that you use better logic. For example, you could make a better version of this meme by saying that she's ignoring the fetus's choice to live or something of that nature.

--- Dude, I know. I had to ALSO make this one. That is the logic that I use all the time in arguments, but this hadn't been made yet. I will also make that one, too.

Okay, I'm just saying that the logic for this meme makes no sense.

It does make logical sense, you just don't get it that a father also has a choice, as well as the baby. I just hadn't made that MEME yet.

Why does the father have a choice?

Apparently, you can't think for yourself, so you need me to explain why one of the two parties that created a life, should have any say in that life. Why don't you think about why they wouldn't have a choice?

I can, I'm just trying to understand how you're thinking about it.

Does it not take a man and a woman to make a baby, still?

You're thinking the father shouldn't have a voice. You're not wondering, why you are thinking about it the way that you are.

Okay, you make a good point there, but the main issue is that the kid isn't growing inside of the father and messing with him in all kinds of ways. (Being pregnant isn't exactly a walk in the park). That said, I also don't think that it should be used every time someone decides that they don't want a baby, but rather in cases where it's absolutely necessary for the mother's health or cases of rape or incest.

"nor is he always held accountable for taking care of the baby once it's out."

That's hardly correct. There's a whole generation of women that had children with men to get a government paycheck from child-support and free welfare, while they prostitute themselves out for cash, sell drugs, help other men kidnap younger women to trap them with drugs and prostitution, all under the table, so they can keep the welfare coming in.

Eh, perhaps not in all cases. What I really dislike about the topic of abortion is that many people act as though it is a black and white issue, when really it's more of a series of ugly shades of gray. There are cases where an abortion may be necessary in order for the pregnant woman to not die or be forced to give birth to a rape-baby, but it absolutely shouldn't be used in every case that a woman decides that she doesn't want a baby, because there are better alternatives to that, such as adoption.

I see your point, but I take a stronger stance on the topic: being a fundamentalist Christian, I do not approve of abortions in any case except when the life of the mother is in danger. Life is sacred, and something everyone has a right to - whether they have been born or not :)

Alright. I respect that.

Not that I agree with this idea, but most of the left would argue that the woman is the one who’d have to suffer from the pains of pregnancy & childbirth.
1 up, 5y
I completely understand where the left come from, though that would be sexist if both parents aren't treated equally. But you do see how there's the "baby momma" trap, going on in our society, yet? Some women want to have multiple children with multiple men, so they can keep getting government checks?

Same answer. The Baby over-rides both parents' say, imho. That's my reasoning. That the baby over-rides both parents' "choice".

I said it should over ride. Because those parents gave up their choice when they chose to have va**nal sex, duh. Can you even explain why the baby's right to life, shouldn't override the parents' right to end that life? (inb4 you dodge the question)

I couldn't help but notice this conversation, and I am confused by your logic. What I am wondering is why you think a human who are fully developed (adults) have the right to end the life of a human who is not fully developed. I agree that a woman should have control over her own body, but that should not extend to other people's bodies who are under her care.
1 up, 5y
That would be your opinion and not fact. A woman's body does not include 2 heads, 4 hands, 4 feet, 2 hearts, and 2 separate DNA. You're quite ignorant and illogical, so much so you seem to stalk every MEME I post to comment the same Statist beliefs you picked up from your feminist college professor, instead of thinking for yourself.

Bruh, it is the WOMAN's choice to get an abortion, not the woman's father or her husband.

I never said that.

You were implying that I assumed that I thought of women as inferior to men, when I didn't say that, so... you can get what you give out, punk b!tch
